Pelmeni Bistro SAMOWAR in Dresden

Recently we picked up pelmeni in passing, after my girlfriend had raved about it for ages. And what should I say? We weren't disappointed! Authentic, tasty and inexpensive, as well as very friendly service. A mask was even worn when preparing the fresh pelmeni - exemplary! Another plus point for me: Card payments in general and in particular with Amex are accepted. The minimum amount is 10 euros, but I can support that in such a small shop more than in other shops that offer their goods or food in exposed locations at completely different prices. We would love to come back and hope, as soon as the situation changes, to be able to take a seat in the restaurant.

Great experience! Pelmenis are to die for (real mama in the kitchen ;) ), they have a long list of very original and tasty cocktails, georgian wines and wodkas of course; the service is just perfect, effective and "no-nonsense". More than acceptable prices.

Super friendly lady in the service. We were even allowed to put an additional table with chairs in front of the bistro. Great experience, great food, great Russian beer.

I would order something different next time. I got the Hirschhack Pelmeni, and it was a bit too gamey and a bit too heavy. But the yogurt soup was to die for. My friend ordered vegetarian Pelmeni and loved them. Nice service and can pay with card. :)

Ordered the okroschka / yogurt soup - super fresh, can only be recommended! Pelmeni were all great, good selection. Service very hospitable.

We found this little Bistro while exploring Dresden, and it has been a fantastic suprise. Absolutely unpretentious environment, with a discreet and attentive service, and great value for money. We entered for a quick drink, and ended up having a full dinner - we just couldn´t stop ordering palmeni!! The food is just perfect, tasty and carefully prepared "mama style", large portions and a variegated menu. The drinks were also a pleasant suprise, A good choice of unexpected and original combinations. Very, very acceptable prices. Unfortunately it was our last day in Dresden, otherwise we would have definetely gone back for more. Reccomended!

I will definitely go to this beautiful place. Dumplings in Dresden and even a hundred grams of vodka, it's a buzz. Ah, the children of dumplings with cherries and Moscow ice cream with chocolate.

Really an insider tip. Super tasty and very authentic flair. The owner is very friendly, the food and drinks are typical and otherwise very rare to get. We were particularly pleased that Georgian wine was offered. Gladly again.
